I slapped a name and some branding on my spontaneous, cozy "working on hardware and thought I'd share" livestreams:
- YouTube playlist
- Twitch channel
- I also sometimes do chill, mostly-silent “cowork with me / study with me” streams here, when I’m working on boring computer stuff.
- LinkedIn
- I don’t think you can do playlists on LinkedIn, alas :/
These can happen anytime, but are usually late at night (Pacific time), when I’m in a groove on a project. However, I’ll announce when I’m going live on Mastodon / Bluesky / Instagram Stories, and they should pop up if you follow me on the broadcast platforms above.
Content and flow:
- There might be 3D modeling, PCB design, electronics prototyping, repairs, mods, teardowns… anything I can show you on my desk &/or screen.
- If it’s a desktop project, I’ll start by clearing off my workspace and showing you what I’ve got on there, since it’s often an interesting mix of random project bits and tools.
- There isn’t always a clear goal or end point; it’s motivated experimentation: progress over perfection, exploration over outcome.
First official session: July 28, 2025
